Hello,
Sorry to not speak german,
but i wanted to post this in the deutsch section as it concerns the OPERA DVB S1 which is sold in Germany, and i've found no other reference to it in any other language.
It looks like dvbviewer can work with the DVBWorld usb box, i believe this is the same as the Opera dvb s1, can someone help me into using dvbviewer for it?
Thank you very much and once again sorry.

Hallo,
you must have BDA driver for every device, when it's not technisat or twinhan card.
The free DVBViewer from this site is a version only for technisat cards.
if you can install the driver from the DVBWorld usb box
can you make a test, with Transedit_MMC_Demo
if you can make a channelscan you can buy the DVBViewer Pro for 15 Euros.

Hi,
Thanks for your willing to help me!
I can't install the dvbworld driver, only the opera one. As i believe it is the same device, but with different drivers, do you think it could work with dvbviewer?
actually, *any* device with bda driver can work?
I couldn't make a test with transedit as that asks me for a flexcop (skystar 2) device, opera one is
Cypress CY7C87013A-56PCX
Xilinx Spartan® XC3850 FPGA
http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB_..._DVB-S_USB2_Box
http://www.informati...Hlawit/dvb.html
I will try to use other drivers as this box seems to be sold under many different brands:
nextorm
turbosight
satstar2
opera dvb S1
dvbworld
another question, which version of dvbviewer supports dvbworld?
Thanks ever so much

Hallo,
normally, then BDA is a standart driver, but a PC is a PC
in TransEdit can you scan your device under Settings -> Hardware
if you can't find a dvb card, it's not good
then it's probably a driver problem

Hallo,
if you write the card work with this driver, its a BDA Driver?
then you can make a test with Transedit_MMC_Demo look under "settings -> scan device"
if you can find channels you can use the DVBViewer Pro

Hi,
No, i don't know if it's a bda driver, actually i don't know how to tell, but there's another driver that was written for a similar deviceb - thedvbworld - (but that has different usb id) that is bda, but doesn't work with the opera box.
I tried running your program, it didn't recognize the card.
Any ideas?

Hello,
I have Opera DVB-S1 also and it is not same as the WordDVB and OperaDVB-S1 Plus because it is not working with the other drivers.
I have SDK of Opera DVB-S1,
http://rapidshare.com/files/15830890/Opera...S1-SDK.rar.html
I hope that one day to see this great DVB-S Box hardware with the great DVB-S software as DVBViewer.
