turbocat Posted August 29, 2014 Share Posted August 29, 2014 hello ; im using hd 4xxx series amd vga card ; im not watching 4k video or 8 k video . my vga card is support 8k dxva limit (h264 level 5.1 format) . problem ; codecs problem ; mpc dxva codec ; etc etc not support 4k -8k dxva for xp. are you writing 4k-8k-24k (eyefinity ) codec for DVBViewer pro ? and add dvbiewer pro new codec. your codec. and for nvidia -intel gpu. (24 k for ultra high vga card . eyefinity (5 monitors or 6 monitor) hd 4xxx series is dual screen 4k first screen ,4 k second screen dxva limit for support xp- win8.1. im watch to living-making -doing etc 4k -8k video DVBViewer pro. Tjod Posted August 29, 2014 Share Posted August 29, 2014 The DVBViewer does not include any codecs. And 4k/UHD TV will mostly use HEVC/h.265 as codec. And yes the DVBViewer has already support for using HEVC codecs (when present on the system). Most HEVC codecs currently are not supporting dxva. So you need a fast CPU. Time will show which codecs and which graphic cards will support dxva for h.265.
