@southpaw83

proper codecs are installed?

(Microsoft has removed it's codecs from Windows 10)

Which codecs are they? I reinstalled DVBViewer and went from there. I had chosen LAV Filter codecs

Was there problems before a clean install?

Tested before when i did the normal upgrade to 10 from Windows 8.1 via Windows update and it worked ok it's just that i like to do a clean install when a new OS comes out

I'm on Win 10 X64 and using MadVR Video renderer with LAV Video Decoder all runs smoothly on my Terratec S7 with DVBViewer Pro. Connected to Thor 0,8w, Sirius 4,8e, Hotbird 13e and Astra19,2e with Diseqc.

Windows 10 and its mpeg codec... :mad:

My computer without DVD Player app from Windows store had this problem (stutter in Window Media Player with MediaFoundation). Needed to use LAV for all. (But problem with some app if MediaFoundation is disabled)

For some reason, buying the "DVD Player" fixed all these problems and finally not needed to use LAV.

The behavior is different depending if you have upgraded a version of Windows that already had Windows Media Center. Or if you have a clean install.
