Encountered this error when viewing a SD channel in DVBViewer on Windo

Hello, recently I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.

 

When I tried to view a SD channel in DVBViewer I got the below error. Will this problem be solved by a reinstall of DVBViewer?

Microsoft removed its MPEG2 codec during the "update" (operating system change).

 

So you need to install e.g. LAV Filters and configure the DVBViewer to use codec.

Btw should I use the 32 bit or the 64 bit of the filters?

32 bit for DVBViewer. Additionally installing the 64 bit version doesn't hurt...
