Decrypting tv channels?

So, I recently got a digital devices dvb card. I downloaded DVBViewer and found out that all the tv channels are encrypted. I have a set top box from tv provider with smart card.

Is there any way that I can decrypt tv channels ? Could it be done using the card that ia already have, if so, then how? (im new to this stuff)

You need a CI for the TV card (it needs to me compatible with your TV card)

https://digitaldevices.de/products/dvb_components/duoflex_ci/

https://digitaldevices.de/products/dvb_components/octopus_duo_ci/

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Interface

And then a CAM that support the encryption used by you TV provider. That can be a problem. Because there are not CAM for every provider. Some require CI+ which will not work on the PC. Because it is not possible to enforce the required user restrictions.

And then you put the CAM in the CI and the smart-card in the CAM and it shoud work.

And that is the only solution we will discuss here in the forum. Even if it doesn't work with your TV provider or in your country other solutions are legal.

Why make it complicated?

Does your TV card have CI interface

Yes: You need a CAM module to hold your card, but its not shure it will work

No: You need device as Tjod indicate

I dont understand why Tjod begins legal discussion. You have a paid card!
