rabbit0x536 Posted September 7, 2017 Share Posted September 7, 2017 Hi, I can feel a difference when i use the recording service instead of using the tuners directly, it takes one or two seconds more or so to change between channels. It is tolerable, but the user experience is degraded. I assume it is because there is some buffering involved, i would like to reduce if not eliminate that buffer and get faster switching times when I'm connecting to from my main PC. It runs the server as well, so there is no need for buffer, since service and client are on the same PC. I mainly use the service to be able to watch TV on my mobile on the go. Its only occasionally accessed from others PCs in my LAN. Is there any way to do this / would it be possible to implement that feature in the next versions, so when the client and server are on the same machine, it doesn't affect channel change time as much as it does at the moment.
