One of my Problems with the long starting time and the problems with white screen and long wait time when i switch channels is gone. the loading time is fast and when i switch a channel i see its picture and the EPG immedietly. Malte
Hi, thank you for the new version. But now, the percentaged status of the broadcast isn't shown anymore in the Mini EPG (see attached image). Do you know a solution for this problem? Link to comment
Guest Lars_MQ
Yes this is intentional. if you want to see it, simply edit the myminiepg.xml and replace the false with true in the red line

progress
<type>progress</type>
<x>485</x> <y>392</y>

#TV.Now.percentage % <subcontrols> <control>
background
<type>Image</type>

<texture>progress_background.png</texture> </control> <control>
left
<type>Image</type>

<texture>progress_left.png</texture> </control> <control>
right
<type>Image</type>

<texture>progress_right.png</texture> </control> <control>
mid
<type>Image</type>

<texture>progress_mid.png</texture> <graphicstyp>tile_image</graphicstyp> </control> <control>
label
<type>Label</type>

<visible>false</visible> </control> </subcontrols>
As for the speedimprovements, there are a lot of optimization in it now. A lot of the stuff should work faster now As Christian said, the main concern for this release was fine tuning and (internal) preparations for the next big steps. Link to comment
Guest Lars_MQ
One thing @ Stevie123 but this is important for everybody: Clean your channellist, remove every satellite you can't receive, maybe remove channels you will never watch. The less channels in the list the better. The channellist ist involved in most operations (EPG/Favourites) and it takes longer to iterate throught a big list than a small list (duh this was a very intelligent sentence ). The same is of course true for the GE. We spend quite an amount of time profiling the DVBViewer (means looking how long every operation takes) and to put it simple: the main bottleneck is the channellist (or the size of it). SpecialK
Thank you for the new release. But i don't find the right way to start the DVBViewer via the Webinterface. If i understand you right, it should now be possible. Can you tell me how? Thanks SpecialK Link to comment

jf2020
Hi Thanks for this new version. It seems to work very well and to be fast. I just have a very small issue with OSD that is that now when I try to play a recording, the dialog "Resume playback of ###### "No" starts from beginning" both the YES and the NO buttons are highlighted in green while in the previous version just one was highlighted by default. Happy holidays! Link to comment

hackbart
just a small update (hotfix): 1st: Multituner Devices (like the one from Medion) should work now without any problems 2nd: The Equalizer can be disabled optionally 3rd: If you select "unchanged" inside the renderer, the aspect ratio was not 100% correct - but since this was a problem from the first DVBViewer up to now - i suppose it was not really important. emmel
Thank you once again. One small remark: If I "open file" (*.ts) and select "show subtitles" (*.srt), the DVBViewer window-title is replaced by a running clock, see attached fig. BR Link to comment

hackbart
interesting, the caption time debug line is probably caused by the new vobsub routine. I will take a look on it. Anyhow, it is not really critical Christian Link to comment
trockentoast
Hey, I saw that "DasVierte" was added to the new Channel- List. But i wonder why there is no "RadioBremenTV" within the List, ... I cant find anything and i searched for it in "Local" and "Regional"! Thx Link to comment
