gibman
Hi ! I have setup DVBV to record as a .TS file along with subs and all audio substreams using the internal recorder in 3.2.6.80. So far so good. I find my self in trouble if I try to author a DVD with subs. Ofcourse I can use tsplayer to demux the ts into .mpv and .mpa files. But what about teletext subtitles ? They show up fine in tsplayer using ctrl+/ctrl- key comboes. But how do I extract them to a .srt textual subs??? It would be a bit limited if I can only playback TS+sub files with TSplayer or DVBViewer. With SRT files I could use whatever I like more or less. The thing is ... I have figured out a nice and quick way how to make a dvd with switchable subs (not hard-encoded subs). The source sub file was .srt). It works fine. /Elo Quote Link to comment
