fesche
Salut ! I just tried to convert my MPEG recorded File to PVA because I wanted to append two files together, but then I found out that after converting to PVA the sound got damaged with unregular beeps and blops. 1. has anybody an idea ? Of course I tried to watch the original PMPEG, but this is playing well ! 2. Is there a tool to cut / append mpeg files without need to convert 1000 times ? Or even just cutting would be fine ! thx. fesche
Salut ! I just found out that I blamed PVAstrumento unreasonably. It is PVAcut that produces theese beeps and blops !!!!!!! I Just checked The files, and here is what I did.... 1. recorded mpeg2 stream 2. converted to pva with PVAstrumento this is the output: *** *** PVAStrumento 2.0.26 *** running at 03-05-2003 15:39 *** Stream info for G:\capture\Art_Attack_2003_March_05_15_00.mpg VIDEO: Resolution 480 x 576 (2/3 D1) Aspect ratio is 4:3 Frame rate 25.00 fps Nominal bitrate 15000000 bps first PTS: 00:00:00.280 AUDIO: MPEG-1, Layer 2 48.0 kHz, Stereo Bitrate 192 kbps Frame Length 24.0 ms (576 bytes) first PTS: 00:00:00.180 Audio starts 99 ms early (->video delay on muxing) ==MAKING PVA== Input: G:\capture\Art_Attack_2003_March_05_15_00.mpg PVA: \Art_Attack_2003_March_05_15_00.mpg.pva FIXING startup delay. Guest Oliver
Hello! Just have a look in "Deutsch - Probleme mit: PVA, PVACut, TMPGEnc". You should try to disable "calculate new PTS" in PVACut, but it is explained in the "deutsch"-part in greater detail. Bye, Oliver Quote Link to comment

damjang
There's a tool that can cut mpeg2 files. It is called MPEG2Cut. Try it... Here you can download: http://darkav.de.vu/ damjang Quote Link to comment
