Guest Lars_MQ Posted June 23, 2006 Share Posted June 23, 2006 DVBDiscover 1.0 DVBDiscover is a simple tool aimed to simplify the configuration of non DVBViewer clients for net streaming. It detects all DVBViewer Streaming Provider (if their Autodiscover function is activated) in the local LAN and lists the necessary parameters. The correct configuration of the Firewall and the permission for the tool (and of course for the DVBViewer Streaming Provider) to send and receive UDP-Packets is necessary. Please read the documentation of your firewall for this. This tool will not work over internet and it can not be used for the Webstreaming Plugin. Usage Check if the Autodiscover function of the DVBViewer Streaming Providers (DVBServer or NetStreaming Plugin) is active and if the firewall is configured accordingly. Start DVBDiscover on the client computer and choose "Discover". If all settings are correct, DVBDiscover will now list all found Providers with the respective data. With this data you can now configure your chosen client program (VLC, MPC etc). Download Quote Link to comment
