About Schizo Beta 1 and the EKG (Released 2003-03-21) The DivX Schizo Beta 1 release is a bug fix release for DivX 5.0.3, and includes the first version of the EKG (Electrokompressiongraph) application, a new gadget from the R&D labs of DARC. The EKG enables an advanced video compressionist to reallocate data to specific scenes within a video clip. We need your feedback regarding the new DivX Codec release and the new EKG application so we can make sure we squashed all our bugs and make sure we get back to building the features you really want to see. It's been too long since we've added some really cool features. This is going to change, since we're now back from making sure DivX moves beyond the PC and into all types of interesting non-PC devices. The EKG is just one of the new apps and features we've created due to community demand. The full list of changes and fixes can be found in the "What's New" section. The Quality Assurance (QA) period will run for about two weeks starting Friday, 2003-03-21. All the results must be e-mailed back to us by Monday, 2003-04-07 at the latest. Intermediate results are welcome. Please submit your bugs through our bug submission form and you can discuss your bugs and feedback with others and us in the DivX Beta Release Feedback Forum. Im Folgenden die Änderungen im Kurzüberblick: - EKG (Electrokompressiongraph) application now comes bundled with DivX Pro - No more green first frame at very high bitrates - Decoder updates the display to the appropriate frame when seeking - Fixed some memory leaks related to Psychovisual and nth Pass mode - Nth pass RC is tweaked to minimize the usage of high quantizer - Nth pass doesn't create an empty frames at the beginning of the clip - Brightness/Saturation sliders now working correctly - Strategy planning for rate control is much faster now - Various cosmetic fixes in the Encoder GUI - MPEG-4 "type Indicator" correctly set according to selected encoding parameters Dieses Speicherleck war bei mir katastrophal, ich konnte 5.03 mit bestimmten Einstellungen überhaupt nicht nutzen.
