TT-3200 card for Dish Network HD channels?

Does anybody know, or have some experience with TT-3200 card for Dish Network HD channels (Echostar 3-61.5 W, Echostar 8-110W). All HD channels in NA are using 8PSK modulation, coded in MPEG-2 or MPEG-4.

Is Dish Network HD compatible with European DVB-S2 standard?

I'm quite sure that it's not compatible. 8PSK is only the modulation but the channel coding is different. In NA they've decided to use turbo coding whereas DVB-S2 uses LDPC (Low Density Parity Check) coding.

I’ve just tested TT-3200 card for Dish Network HD channels, unfortunately with unsatisfactory result, I’ve used latest DVBViewer scanning individually all HD transponders and used all possible FEC setups with no result. It only works for SD channels (DVB-S). I’ve read that NA 8PSK modulation is using different FEC method, so called Turbo-FEC. I wander if there is possible software fix in future DVB application which will address this issue, or there is hardware problem which will not allow using standard DVB-S2 card in NA? I don’t know if FEC is something on hardware or software level…Anyway for now it does not work, maybe programmers of DVB can help in future…

Can you post your echostar transponder file?

PS: I know 8psk wont work according to the demodulator limitations, but i'm just curious :)

This not quite correct and could lead to further misunderstandings :)

The tuner/demodulator can cope perfectly well with 8psk but only according to the DVB-S2 standard with LDPC. Any ideas to create a different demodulator in software on a normal PC are ludicrous..

These are transponders files (Echostar-3 and Echostar-8 )I have scanned, I put comment on right side for HD:

Yes after your first answer i googled around and stubled over some explanations. It seems to be that the only solution is a workaround: http://www.coolstf.com/lvds/

I’m little confused, what “DTVWorks DVB-SPI Interface” in attached link has to do with satellite stream modulation and coding. This is just USB2 to parallel converter for MPEG stream
