Habos
Hi Finally managed to setup my remote with DVBViewer thx to Lars for implementing the lirc connection to other hosts to. It would be nice if you could implement multiple functions for remote buttons like in vdr so that the remote buttons behave different depending where you are in program (OSD). Example: In main windows (no OSD displayed) i could setup my color button: red: recordings green: channels yellow: epg blue: teletext or favorites left/right buttons for next channel group if you are in osd these buttons would behave diff. Also it's a bit hard to navigate in the OSD channels menu. I can go one by one channel with the up/down button, but if you have 1000 it's a slow process to find some channel. I know that there are the up/down commands in the upper right corner, but somehow i didn't manage always to hit them (didn't figure out yet how the left/right buttons works realy). What i would like is to have on remote up/down buttons for channel changing one by one, and left/right buttons for page up/down (or maybe 'jump to next group/folder) and maybe the ch+/- to navigate inside the osd channels menu (i would not change channels for sure with ch+/- if i'm in the channels OSD menu). I'm using the one for all urc-7040 remote (http://www.oneforall-int.com/english/prodsup/urc/prodsup7040.htm) Not sure if I managed to explain it, but anyone who used vdr will understand. Btw DVBViewer rox, keep up the good work. Habos Quote Link to comment

One vote for that, I hope it would have a high priority because in my opinion that is the biggest missing feature in DVBV Quote Link to comment
hdv
Hello, left/right buttons for page up/down (or maybe 'jump to next group/folder)go on the description of the group and press OSD-OK, so you go to next group. Quote Link to comment
Kimpsu
I vote for this feature too. I have gotten used to getting channel/favorite list on almost every single DVB set top box I have used by pressing "OK" (the one in the middle of the arrows) when nothing else is showing up, and using it as "enter" when browsing through OSD. Another Quote, This is The Best OSD Menu I've Found So Far, With Loads of Great Options, But Lacks Good Remote Configurability ! So, Yet Another Vote, This is a Major Bug ! Quote Link to comment
