If you want to start DVBViewer with a specific channel you can simply add a parameter:

-c = DVBViewer shows no channel at first (standby)

-cNumber: = Switches to the given channel number.

Example: c:\ program files\DVBViewer\DVBViewer.exe -c12

-cName: = Switches to the channel with the given name.

Example: c:\ program files\DVBViewer\DVBViewer.exe -cMTV Central

what would be the use of such thing?

If you watch a porn channel and forget to switch to a "normal" program before closing the DVBViewer the wife will be surprised when opening the dvbv for watching her soap show :bye::D

this is not possible, you could construct of course something a batchfile or a script around the DVBViewer otherwise it's only on startup.

And since you won't give any explanations there is nothing which shows a real need to integrate such thing.

I'm sorry, I wanted to do this because I noticed that DVBViewer crash when I close it from some channels, but not from some others.

This causes me problems when I've a timed record which turn off the computer at the end; if DVBViewer crash, it won't turn off the computer.
