girder3 plugin: WindowID faulty

Hi!

After a very long time I finally found some time to play with DVBV again :)

I use girder 3, Igorplug and the latest girder plugin 1.1.

My Problem:

In girder's variable display the variable reg1 always shows -1 (=no OSD) for the following 2 OSD-windows:

_a) myminiepg and

_;) the osd menu.

--> So I guess in these cases the WindowID isn't transferred to the plugin.

I want to achieve a context sentsitive function of one remote button for back and OSD exit.

So I need to know if ANY OSD window is visible or none.

This should be possible via the variable reg1, but...

Also: is there a way to change the WindowID of OSD windows?

Any help/hint would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Stephan

Hi!

forgot to mention: I use the great OSD skin concinnity 3D.

And I tried other skins including the default skin as well - still no luck.

WindowID/reg1 isn't updated when I open the OSD menu or the myminiepg.

Hi again,

I answer myself >_<

It seems that after closing girder and DVBV, the variables are shown correctly again.

However, sometimes they are not, sometimes they are.

So, it's a bit like "fuzzy logic"... :)

I'll monitor this behaviour and try to find out who's the culprit.

I start to think that maybe it's caused by the Igor plugin or its driver not functioning correctly under vista.

Not sure though.
