Klausing
How to make a GUI Skin for the DVBViewer Pro http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/GUI_SkinCompiler Since version 2.0 you can make your own skin. All what you need for this you can find here in the Skin Editor Package. If you create a skin you can post it here in this thread as attachement. As example i post my old testskin. Maybe it is not the great art, but it was my first step with this skin editor. What says an old DVBViewerMember? : "Happy skinning!" Steffen klausing.skin 1 Link to comment
Technofriend
PLEASE USE THIS THREAD ONLY TO POST NEW SKINS. NOT FOR DISCUSSION!! THANX. BITTE BENUTZT DIESEN THREAD HIER NUR ZUM POSTEN NEUER SKINS. NICHT ZUR DISKUSSION!! DANKE. BTW: In this thread (in german) you can read how to mod the colors of a skin: Forum-Link Skin-FAQ: Q: How to install the skins? A: You'll get them in the DVBViewer-Service-Center. Unzip the file and put the files with the .skin extension into the skin-directory of your DVBViewer Pro installation... Then go to Options in DVBViewer and select the skin you want. Skins work only with the Pro-Version, not with the GE- and TE-Versions. Q: What are the skin-sources good for? A: If You want to alter a skin to your personal needs, then you need the skin-sources. The skin-sources can be found in the DVBViewer-Service-Center. Q: What about the copyrights? A: I just changed the colors of this skin. The copyright remains at the designer of the default-skin: AFAIK: Christian Hackbart. Q: What do I need the skin-compiler/skin-viewer for? A: If you changed the sources of a skin or if you made your own skin you need to compile the sources into a single .skin-file. This skin-editor can be found in the DVBViewer-Service-Center. Q: My question is not answered in this FAQ, what now? A: Go to the DVBViewer Forum, read the forum-rules and ask your question there. Edited August 14, 2005 by Technofriend Link to comment

OKeh
I asked this often, too, but in the forum I mostly got no answer. Then, 2 month ago me was told it will be released in the next days. (sorry for this very bad english ) Link to comment

dvbviewer.tv
Hi all. I would like save skin but i don't understand this Compiling a skin To add a skin into the DVBViewer it is necessary to compress and compile it before. For compiling the skin directory all you need is to use the commandline tool "compressor.exe". The command: "compressor dvbexample.skin C:\program files\skinedit\skin\"compiles the skin located in the "c:\program files\skinedit\skin\" directory.. Who can tell me what can i do that?
