Record problem since running PMS (PS3 Media Server)

Messing around with PMS a new Media Server for PS3 http://ps3mediaserver.blogspot.com/

I tried to serve a DVBViewer Live Recording of BBC HD(H.264,AC3) to the PS3 and that sort of worked.

However since then all new reordings of the HD channels with AC3 audio have the audio part misrepresented

here is more info obtained from the recordings

Media Player Classic info on good recordings that play on PS3 (MPC can play these) recorded prior to running PMS

Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 1440x1088 [Video]

Audio: Dolby AC3 48000Hz stereo 384Kbps [Audio]

Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 1440x1088 [Video]

Audio: Dolby AC3 48000Hz 6ch 384Kbps [Audio]

Media Player Classic info from the recordings that wont play on PS3 (MPC is unable to play these with audio or without eventually crashing) recorded after running PMS

Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 1440x1088 [Video]

Audio: AAC 32000Hz 4ch 299Kbps [Audio]

Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 1440x1088 [Video]

Audio: AAC 12000Hz 0ch 617Kbps [Audio]

Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 1440x1088 [Video]

Audio: AAC 48000Hz stereo 1893Kbps [Audio]

Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 1440x1088 [Video]

Audio: MPEG Audio 44100Hz stereo 448Kbps [Audio]

Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 1440x1088 [Video]

Audio: AAC 48000Hz stereo 327Kbps [Audio]

At first look it seems that transcoding has taken place on the audio - however

Nero Showtime plays all these recordings and also reveals that the audio is in fact

Dolby AC3 48000Hz 6ch 384Kbps [Audio] or Dolby AC3 48000Hz stereo 384Kbps [Audio] even though the file properties of MPC say otherwise.

I have no idea what to do to fix DVBViewer (or Vista?)

Edit : I tried a re-install of DVBVeiwer but the situation is still the same

Any Ideas??
