wmax
Hi there, When exiting DVBViewer i get a message box: "timer file readonly!". I have tried to change/change back the properties of several files containing the text "timer" but without result. Please somebody give me a hint. support.zip Quote Link to comment
wmax
No reply yet. Maybe one of the developers could answer. The error message does not only occur at program exit but also when starting or ending recording service (without affecting recording itself). Many thanks! Quote Link to comment
Gioxy
The unique and right file you have to modify is the "timers.xml" you find in DVBViewer current "Configuration folder"; to go straight in it click on the relative item into DVBViewer "Help" menu... BTW, I've never find that file protected/readonly on XP, dunno other SO... Quote Link to comment
wmax
No more error messages! Thank you Gioxy. Note, however, that the error is trapped when the file property is set to HIDDEN. So the error message was a bit misleading. However, I am really a fan of your programme. Quote Link to comment
Lars_MQ
This is not a correct DVBViewer installation. Please install the DVBViewer with the setup again, the program will most likely not run stable in this condition. Quote Link to comment
fiscio
I also found, that file property "hidden" causes the failure. Quote Link to comment
