Fulco
Running Register_DVBSource.exe (Windows 7, 64bit), with Administrator rights, fails with message: “Registering/unregistering filters requires administrator rights!”. I copied Register_DVBSource.exe and Pushsource.ax (DVBViewer_Filter_3_5_2) to the filters directory. Please help. Quote Link to comment
Tjod
You need full Administrator rights. Right click on the Register_DVBSource.exe an select run as Administrator. Quote Link to comment
ak2010
I did. You have to enable the administrator account as follows. C:\Windows\System32\gpedit,(Double click gpedit)Then under Computer configuration Double click Windows Settings, double click Security options, double click Local policies, double click Security options. Then in the right pane Top line Accounts: Administrator Account Status...( Double click and enable). Then Log off and Log in to Administrator account. You might have to restart Computer i can't remember. You can leave the Adminstrator account enabled but still use your account and when you need to register .ax files Log off and Log in to Admin account. (Using the Computer in Administrator Account isn't recommended.Less secure). Quote Link to comment
