Epg on viasat

Hello how do i get epg to work on viasat (sirius 4.8E) for 3 to 7 days

i only get for 2 programs right now

i have DVBViewer pro

interesting question. Cos everything is scrambled I've never looked at it.

 

A short view with transedit on a random viasat mux (11938V) shows that there are 2 different actual EITs with different pids. One is the standard EIT_PID 0x0012 with events for the current day only. That's what you see.

 

The other 0x0039 (in the example) shows the entire 7 days EPG. Apparently I was lucky cos only a few transponders carry pid 0x0039. So I don't know the complete scheme

 

Maybe this is already known but it is new to me It should be possible to adapt the dvbv to take this pid into account (like freesat or mediahighway)

 

btw. there are also different SDTs

A nice workaround is to use a external xmltv epg and import in to DVBViewer with xepg, in that way you get 14 days of swedish epg from dagenstv.com

I vote for a solution too :-). I am also only getting info for 2 programs.

 

I really need the EPG to work on viasat (sirius 4.8E).
