Derrick
What should I do? ..writing a comprehensible question would help The new DVBViewer Pro 4.5 RC1 should work with the new driver. If you use the recording service, you'll have to wait for an updated version. For the time being I would recommend to go back to driver 4.5.0.0 from 21.04.2010 (have a look on your installation CD) Quote Link to comment
viewemen
Derrick thank you for your answer! even DvbViexer 4.5.0 RC does not work! yet: Changes between 4.5 RC1 and 4.3.1.177 •Add: BDA - Tevii: Added support for the new BDA driver of Tevii S470. sorry for my bad English! PS:I have a TeVii S464! Edited September 16, 2010 by viewemen Quote Link to comment
Griga
PS:I have a TeVii S464! Seems it is not covered by the TeVii detection code. Will most likely be fixed in the final release. The problem behind it: With the new drivers "TeVii" isn't part of the device name (more specifically: of the tuner filter name) anymore, so a detection relying on it fails. Quote Link to comment
viewemen
Indeed, the name of the device driver is called: not as before "TeVii" but "DVB-HD" maybe that is why it is not detected. thank you very much for your answer. Quote Link to comment
viewemen
it works now, one editing DVB-HD.inf and renamed "DVB-HD" with "TeVii" then renamed all the files in TeVii! but the driver is not digitally signed so you have forced the installation! Quote Link to comment
Griga
editing DVB-HD.inf and renamed "DVB-HD" with "TeVii" then renamed all the files in TeVii! A clever solution! I've already thought of this possibility, but nobody tried up to now. Quote Link to comment
ter9999
Now, the new TeVii driver works fine under 4.5.0.0 RC, but the latest TransEdit (3.5.4.0) can't work, please check. Quote Link to comment
Griga
Same problem. Work-around until next release: Change the according vendor.x entry in TransEdit.ini, [Hardware] section, from 0 to 15 (TransEdit must be closed). Quote Link to comment
viewemen
thank you for the tip Griga, but I did not file TransEdit.ini I TransEditHelp.ini! Quote Link to comment
