ATI graphic card HD 4770 - catalyst 11.2 installed. I've registered the ASVid.ax file as mentioned in this thread (Red Light Filter Manager). I even raised the merrit up to "preferred". Arcsoft Decoder is showing up in Direct X MPEG2 and H.264 list. But when I click "Apply" DVBViewer doesn't use the Arcsoft Decoder, but falls back to the Microsoft DTV decoder. Used the Win7DSFilterTweaker_4_0 program to disable the Microsoft DTV decoder and instead poited the Arcsoft Decoder as default MPEG2 & H.264 decoder. But even in this scenario DVBViewer doesn't want to use the Arcsoft Decoder and falls back to ffdshow decoder. For some reason the Arcsoft Decoder won't be activated in DVBViewer. Ich sehe den Arcsoftt Decoder in der DVBViewer Filterauswahl und kann diesen auch auswaehlen. Beim Betrieb benutzt DVBViewer dann den Microsoft Decoder - warum auch immer. Wenn ich den Powerdvd Decoder auswaehle wird dieser im Gegensatz zum Arcsoft Decoder auch benutzt. Weiss hier jemand Rat? Danke und Gruss Findus Quote Link to comment

Also Filter Manager starten, Register drücken, auf eurem PC die Datei ASVid.ax suchen, öffen, fertig. Jetzt sollte der Arcsoft Filter im DVBViewer auswählbar sein. damy Posted July 18, 2011 Share Posted July 18, 2011 (edited) Sorry, oben wurde mein Vorschlag schon gepostet. Hm, Windows 7 demnach. Bei XP funktioniert es. Ich erinnere mich, dass ich ihn aber auch unter Win 7 ans Laufen gebracht habe. Ebenfalls beobachtet habe ich, dass in der Tat hier und da ein anderer Codec benutzt wird, obwohl Arsoft ausgewählt wurde. Also ich habe zunächst HD Pack 2.3 installiert, und dann die neuere ASVid.ax mit Radlight. Klappt bei mir. Das muss gehen, habe ich hier auf 3 Rechnern (alle XP, wegen des unübertrefflichen, knackigen Overlay-Bildes) am laufen. Edited July 18, 2011 by damy Quote Link to comment

Arcsoft sperrt seine Codecs für Directshow Die dll ist kein Crack oder ähnliches. Funktioniert auch mit TMT5 incl. der neuen Beta Hier das Readme aus dem Archiv: ArcSoft TMT2/3 Codec Unlocker ============================= This file allows you to use the ArcSoft TMT3 codecs in alternative players such as MPC-HC without any effort. It also allows you to use TMT2 and TMT3 codecs without an installation of the software itself. All you need to do is register the codecs and place checkactivate.dll in the same folder as them... that's it. Please note that this is *not* a modification of ArcSoft's checkactivate.dll, which people have been using until now.
