Im trying to get DVBViewer to find dvb-s2 channels on 4.8e but with no luck. i have the latest 0048.ini from http://satellites-xml.eu/ and it has for example 33=12341,H,27500,34,S2,8PSK but DVBViewer just don't grab the channels on that transponder. I have no problem geting s2 channels from 0.8w. I installed ProgDVB 6 and it did not have any problems finding s2 on 4.8e. Any one have any suggestion on what to do? Derrick Posted June 18, 2011 Share Posted June 18, 2011 ..apparently your card/driver needs the additional modulation parameter pilot symbols "on" that is not part of the standard lists because it's not listed in the satellite delivery system descriptor. 134 is the DVBViewer notation for 8psk with pilot symbols on. progdvb's transponder list either already contains the complete parameter set or the program finds the correct pilot setting by try and error Quote Link to comment
