xtonys Posted July 21, 2011 Share Posted July 21, 2011 Hi My Gyration RF remote has stopped talking to DVBViewer 4.8.1. The keyboard buttons of the remote work, but multimedia have stopped working. All buttons on the remote work fine in MCE, PowerDVD. I have previously learnt all buttons to DVBViewer actions, so default.remote is as it should be. I have tried... new batteries in remote (then swapped remote and dongle with Gyration) Deleted and reinstalled drivers for the remote, reinstalled DVBV 4.8.1 deleted both DVBV folders to get rid of settings and install v4.5 nothing made any difference. found and installed multimedia keys x64 - this got the media transport keys and chan+/- working, but still red, green, yellow, blue, info, Live_TV, Guide, Back dont work Before I trash my system and start again, is there some buried file somewhere related to DVBViewer and remotes that I can delete to get the remote working again? filmgetter Posted October 14, 2011 Share Posted October 14, 2011 Hello, my Gyration Remote Control ist working fine under Windows XP and Windows 7 X32 bit without any Driverinstallation. Windows has got an own update. I use the mce plugin in DVBViewer to learn on the buttons. Did you too? Quote Link to comment
