trifon33
Hello, The new French DVB T HD stream has become full HD(1440>>1980). Problem the bitrate has stayed the same. The HD tream is now much highly compressed and the H264 popular codecs I have tested failed to correctly decode the stream in question with freezes, giant macroblocs and even DVBViewer crash. Tested: Arcsof TMT5, W7 MCE codec, CoreAVC 2.55, PowerDVD 11. The later is the less worst! The Arcsoft is OK but in the long run make DVBViewer hangs. MCE codec works sometime if the stream is not too difficult to decode. CoreAVC is 100% useless with macroblocks festival... PWDVD11 is OK excepted one have too many often to make the magic "rebuild graph" I have tried to play back HD files with VLC with succes. So far I know, FFMpeg Libavcodecs are implemented in VLC and FFDShow. When FFDShow is being used with DVBViewer, I found Audio/video out of sync in HD stream. With SD, no problem... The issue is not present in VLC... That's why my suggestion to implement FFmpeg in DVBViewer. With my new USB DVB T device Twintech(Realtek circuit), the signal is perfect with no stream error(TranseditMMC) HTPC: W7 32; DRAM 2GBt, ATI HD 6670 DDR5 1Gbt, DVBViewer 3.8.1. Joshua06
Your DVBViewer version is too old, so no support. Please invite you to the member area (Mainsite) from the current 4.8.1. Quote Link to comment
