android app. remote

Recommended Posts

Hello

Hi:)

Just for information:

I felt over this app. for Android phones, turns your Android phone into a full working remote.

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.Relmtech.RemotePaid&feature=search_result

And special DVBViewer remote to download, in this topic in the Unified Remote forum:

http://forum.unifiedremote.com/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=824

it works, please read the entire topic before installation!!, it's not a free app. but worth the little money to my opinion.

And just for information, I am not the author, or involved in any way, in that project so this is not a commercial to sell it!!, I just think it is smart!!

I can see it has been discussed in the German forum earlier, but before the latest versions especially for DVBViewer.

VERY sorry for late answer.. I had not seen your post until now.

Well it looks like unified remote is still working

http://support.unifiedremote.com/

but.. the remote for dvbv. I got from a person that wrote it and published it for download on Unified Remotes board, but they have closed the board, and answer only support tickets , and can't help with remotes developed by others.

All they have send me is an e-mail address to the person that made the DVBViewer remote.

info@styletronix.net

I have not written to him yet. I have not used the remote for a long time, and the other day I installed it again, or tried I should say, and it is not working anymore.

I will send him a mail today, if I get a usable answer I will let you know.

By the way, take a look at this app.:

http://code.google.com/p/DVBViewer-controller/

There is a remote in that also !!

you can read about it here:

http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/51730-direct-streaming-hd-live-tv-to-nexus-10/

a good idea to read the entire tread !!

Hello guys, i was looking for the Unified Remote's plugin (i'm updating to Win8), but luckily i found the DVBViewer custom remote on the second computer and i'm going to share it with you :)

If you don't remember, you need to put the folder here: Unified Remote\Remotes\Custom and you should uncheck the "start with windows" option (it doesn't work without it). You can add Unified Remote manually to Autostart folder.

It looks like all is working fine except PAUSE while playing TV, time-shift is on, don't know anything about programming so don't know what can be wrong... otherwise other options are working fine... tx for sharing.

Hi,

Can someone please re-upload the file above?, I've searched the net but I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

Thanks.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Anyway, I asked for the Universal Remote custom remote because I'm already using that app as a general purpose HTPC remote controller and in my case will be more convenient since I only want to be able to switch channels and control volume.
