krasno
Hello Hi:) Just for information: I felt over this app. for Android phones, turns your Android phone into a full working remote. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.Relmtech.RemotePaid&feature=search_result And special DVBViewer remote to download, in this topic in the Unified Remote forum: http://forum.unifiedremote.com/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=824 it works, please read the entire topic before installation!!, it's not a free app. but worth the little money to my opinion. And just for information, I am not the author, or involved in any way, in that project so this is not a commercial to sell it!!, I just think it is smart!! I can see it has been discussed in the German forum earlier, but before the latest versions especially for DVBViewer. Quote Link to comment
poncho
I'm searching a DVBViewer plugin for Unified Remote. Your like is down and I couldn't find another link. Do you know where to get it? Quote Link to comment
krasno
VERY sorry for late answer.. I had not seen your post until now. Well it looks like unified remote is still working http://support.unifiedremote.com/ but.. the remote for dvbv. I got from a person that wrote it and published it for download on Unified Remotes board, but they have closed the board, and answer only support tickets , and can't help with remotes developed by others. All they have send me is an e-mail address to the person that made the DVBViewer remote. info@styletronix.net I have not written to him yet. I have not used the remote for a long time, and the other day I installed it again, or tried I should say, and it is not working anymore. I will send him a mail today, if I get a usable answer I will let you know. By the way, take a look at this app.: http://code.google.com/p/DVBViewer-controller/ There is a remote in that also !! you can read about it here: http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/51730-direct-streaming-hd-live-tv-to-nexus-10/ a good idea to read the entire tread !! Przemek211
Hello guys, i was looking for the Unified Remote's plugin (i'm updating to Win8), but luckily i found the DVBViewer custom remote on the second computer and i'm going to share it with you If you don't remember, you need to put the folder here: Unified Remote\Remotes\Custom and you should uncheck the "start with windows" option (it doesn't work without it). You can add Unified Remote manually to Autostart folder. http://www74.zippyshare.com/v/61314791/file.html Quote Link to comment

Tjod
The DVBViewer Controller (Android App) can remote control the DVBViewer Pro. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.DVBViewer.controller https://github.com/RayBa82/DVBViewerController You need the current DVBViewer Pro and Recording Service http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Recording_Service_Installation_Guide Quote Link to comment
michaelr1
Thanks, I'll give it a try. Anyway, I asked for the Universal Remote custom remote because I'm already using that app as a general purpose HTPC remote controller and in my case will be more convenient since I only want to be able to switch channels and control volume.
