Aquilegia
After scanning I have lots of channels, some of them multiples, a lot have blue text some have black, what does the difference mean please? Quote Link to comment
fundom
Blue means that channel has "S2" type of broadcast parameters as opposed to older "S" type. No matter whether "S2" is "QPSK" or "8PSK" modulated, as long as it is "S2", DVBViewer will show all "S2" channels in blue colour for distinction & easy recognition. Only an "S2" capable tuner (known as HD tuners) can pick & tune such channels. Quote Link to comment
Aquilegia
Thank You Fundom, I have an HD Star DVB S2 tuner (as well as FreeView tuners on the same computer), so it's not a problem and I shouldn't take any notice? I wondered if it was something to do with signal strength or like as I have half a dozen of the same channels listed for some. Thank You. Quote Link to comment
