JdV
Hello, new guy from the Algarve (south of Portugal) here. Should I uninstall before upgrading to a newer version (4.5 to 4.9 in this case) or there's no problem with just installing over the previous version using the installer ? Thanks! fundom
I have seen no difference in "clean fresh installation" & installing latest version over previous version. Quote Link to comment

Webturtle
Hello, I 've installed always the newer version over the previous one too. But I think one should make a copy of the old directories (program and CMUV). By renaming the new directories and the copies to the original names, it was possible to fall back to the earlier version, if there were problems with the newer one. With many greetings Webturtle I have installed aprox. 45 versions of DVBViewer, most of them Beta versions, and i have never had any problem. I have never backed up anything, just installed the new version upon the old one Quote Link to comment
