Henk
Since more and more of us seem to be growing fond of PVAcut as an editing tool for the PVA files I wanted to repeat the following questions: The PVAcut displays 5 squares to click on when choosing the beginning and end of a selection. However the position can only be chosen by using the slider & the result viewed in the PVAview window. which is pretty inexact or a bit difficult to work with. (When clicking before or after the slider you always get the next 5 mpeg2 packets.) Only when clicking directly on the slider it moves backwards by only 1 packet. Is there a way to display in the PVAview window the contents of the packet you click on ? Or does someone know if the packet displayed in the PVAview, is it the 1st, last, or middle of the 5 packets listed in the five squares? I guess that would already be a help since you can at least move backwards by one packet. Or can someone recommend another good (preferably free) tool for editing & cutting PVAs? Thanks for your help! Quote Link to comment
plubsi
Hi, i think you have to mark the Block(Frame ###### over the slider, than PVA-Cut use the I-Frame to cut, this is exactly defined. You can change the Point ,look the options. Point and Framenumber you see also. Greets Plubsi Quote Link to comment
Henk
Short Answer from Michael Tirtasana re: PVAcut Questions: (I had sent him an e-mail, here it is (answers by M.T.): > Is there a way to display the contents of the packet you click on in > the PVAview window? NO > ... the packet displayed in the PVAview, is it the > 1st, last or middle of the 5 packets listed in the five squares? The Bar and Arows shows the Frame which is display. It is the 3Third Paket > I guess that would already be a help since you can at least move > backwards by one.
