Tried DVBviewr 4.9.5 on Windows8 and it works without any issues as far as I can tell.

To be honest I think the underlying OS is very W7 in how it re-acts but I think they have added a few memory new routines and support for better multithreading to support the AMD Bulldozer range.

I have only tested using Freeview so far.
