WuxiIxuw
Hello, When I tried the DVBViewer I've found that many channels is not streaming smoothly while others are brilliant. After a lot of goggling I've found that it is a codecs issue. I am running nuts for the right codecs and right settings to be used with DVBViewer? Tried many codecs like k-light, divx, xvid ...etc but still not working. Please do not ignore me and help me. Thanks WI Quote Link to comment

WuxiIxuw
on xp cyberlink, arcsoft, nvidia. on win7 use microsoft, cyberlink. Thanks for replying. Please I am new to this so I do not understand what do you mean? Is this the order for codec choice under direct x tab under settings section in DVBViewer control panel? or you mean to download these codec separately? I tried to explore the www.codecs.com but was not able to find exact names that matched yours? Please advise Thanks in advance and much appreciated. Quote Link to comment
WuxiIxuw
Use LAV codecs . shall i install it directly over DVBViewer? or to uninstall DVBViewer 1st? Quote Link to comment
Tjod
shall i install it directly over DVBViewer? No just install the LAV Filter on your system (not in the DVBViewer folder). And select it in the options: http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Options_DirectX Quote Link to comment
Ruedi M.
DVBrewer and Tjod, thanks a lot. After some changes on the system (NOT DVBViewer), suddenly DVBViewer didn't play MP4 anymore. I found this thread, with it the link to download LAV installer, installed them, and on next start DVBViewer had changed "system default" to "LAV filter" and does fine again ... I've just no more than a thin clue why, but also don't need more anymore, it works ... Quote Link to comment
Eyerex
LAV installs a Splitter which then lets DVBViewer play MP4's Quote Link to comment
