WuxiIxuw
Hello, Please I downloaded latest transponders list from www.kingofsat.net for Nilesat and Badr, Then I edited the associated files under the transponder folder in the DVBViewer directory under DVBViewer Pro folder under Program Files and updated both 3530 for nilesat and 0260 for badr. Then I opened the channel editor to do the scan as usual. Later on after full scan completed I can not find the transponder 10815 at all. So I tried to scan it manually by setting it as starting and ending transponder and choosed to scan transponder and not range, and I can see scan result read that there are 20 new channels but after scan finished and do SAVE, I am still can not find this particular transponder in the list. So please advise and help me how to do add it??? Thanks a lot Quote Link to comment
Tjod
The Transponders folder in ther DVBViewer folder is useless. The correct folder is in the configuration folder. And the best way to edit transponder lists is TransEdit. Quote Link to comment
WuxiIxuw
I can not find the folder titled CONFIGURATION under DVBViewer program files. Isn't the transponder file is the main key!? Quote Link to comment

WuxiIxuw
Well, ok now I added the transponder manually to the transedit application. And did a scan for the selected transponder and it scans a lot of channels. But why I am still do not see these channels in the DVBViewer itself? Why I can see it only in the TransEdit only? I can not record it this way. Please help me. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Tjod
I can not find the folder titled CONFIGURATION under DVBViewer program files.configuration folderhttp://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Configuration_folder (the link is in my first post as well) Also how the scan I do in the transedit apply or work in the DVBViewer ?Its up to you, it works in both but TransEdid is the better Tool for a channel scan. But why I am still do not see these channels in the DVBViewer itself?Add / Updatehttp://www.DVBViewer.com/griga/TransEdit%20E/ScannerWindow.html#ChannelList Quote Link to comment
WuxiIxuw
Thanks a lot for the fast reply. It seems that I was not able to express the problem correctly. My issue is that I can see the required transponder in the file 3530 as you can see it here: But in the application itself I can not see this transponder after the full scan finished as you can see it here: So all I need to do is to add this transponder so I can scan for the channels streamed on it and record from it as usual. Thanks a lot WI Quote Link to comment

Tjod
Run a channel scan in TransEdit http://www.DVBViewer.com/griga/TransEdit%20E/MainWindow.html#Scan select the channels you are looking for > Add / Update http://www.DVBViewer.com/griga/TransEdit%20E/ScannerWindow.html#ChannelList if Add / Update doesn't work http://www.DVBViewer.com/griga/TransEdit%20E/General.html#Installation Quote Link to comment
Soupdragon
I find the easiest thing to do is download the transponder.ini file from KingOfSat.net - in my case it's Astra 28E - 0282.ini. Search for transponders folder on your PC - its usually ...\Application Data\....\DVBViewer\Transponders - drop it in there. Quote Link to comment
