senderkin1
Hello there. Hope this is right forum. I just bought DVBViewer and wonder howto open unicast transponder stream. There is detailed explanation. I choose Plugins ---> NetStream where I can define stream type, interface and port. For example unicast 192.168.0.1:1234. Then I try to open it in VLC on other computer just like this http://192.168.0.1:1234 and it works great. But what should I do when I activate "Stream Whole Transponder" buttom. How can I open channels then? If I try http://192.168.0.1:1234 VLC doesn't open anything. Maybe I should define some specific PIDs in URL? 1 Quote Link to comment
Derrick
But what should I do when I activate "Stream Whole Transponder" buttom. How can I open channels then? ..just select the wanted service. Maybe there's a bottleneck in your network? You'd better install a DVBViewer client on the remote pc. Quote Link to comment
senderkin1
Thanks for quick reply. There is no bottleneck. Description of the problem wasn's quite right. Fist I didn't realize there was a Progam Menu in VLC that i should choose. Thanks for that. It works great. But I'm Linux user and it's important for my script to know how can I open selected program (programs) but not first. For example. If I write this in console vlc http://192.168.0.1:1234 I always open first channel in my list. If i open other instance of VLC with same parameters (vlc http://192.168.0.1:1234) i open first channel as expected. I can choose second channel in program list manualy but it's not a way.The question is how can i define URL to open second, third etc channel straight away? Maybe I should define program PID in URL (if it's possible) or there is another way? Edited February 28, 2013 by senderkin1 Quote Link to comment
Tjod
Use the Recoding Service. http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Recording_Service_Installation_Guide http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/DVBViewer_Recording_Service Open the web interface > click on a channel logo > download the m3u channel list. senderkin1
While playing with Recording Service I figured out howto open specific channel. You should add program pid like this. 192.168.0.1:1234 --program 12345 192.168.0.1:1234 --program 23456 and so on. Hope this'll help someone. Thanks everyone for your help. Quote Link to comment
