kafel
While programming few positions I need some of them with subtitles, and it will be great to have selection in recording window this option. Quote Link to comment
SimonP
I'm not sure if I understand but if you select Settings / Options / Recorder, set the Output Format to .ts (as the others do not support subtitles) then under Format Options you can tell it to save all the subtitle and audio tracks so that they'll be available in the recording when you want them. kafel
Hi! Not in options window /global settings of recording/, but in shedule recordings - every positions may be configurable... I know, that I can record all audio tracks + subtitles in ts, but this option may be helpful for smaller clips without needless audio traks, sometimes subtitles, or remuxing. for example:...first position: german audio+subtitles, second: german audio, third: all audio trakcs + subtitles etc.... SimonP
My opinion (as a user, no connection to the program creators) is that it would over-complicate matters. Better to record everything in the TS, then you can take it out later if required. You can select which stream you want in your player so there's no harm in recording everything and the audio streams are relatively small so it wouldn't make a significant difference to the overall file size.
