Updating channels on Recording service?

This is my setup:

Server: WHS v1

Hardware: TBS 6922

Software: DVBViewer Pro v5.2.9.0 + Recording service. DVBViewer is only installed because it is not possible to install only recording service. This DVBViewer application on the server is not used.

 

Client: Windows 8.1

Software: DVBViewer Pro v5.2.9.0

 

DVBViewer on the client is used to scan and maintain channels.

Is it possible and how to transport scanned channels also with favorites from client DVBViewer to Recording service on the server?

Do I need to copy/paste some files (which?) or can I use interface and press on one button?

You have to synchronize the two files derrick mentioned between the configuration directories (NOT program directories) of client and server.

 

Maybe you should think about defining the server and the DVBViewer on the server as the master for the channel list. The DVBViewer on client can be configured to retrieve the channel setup from the server.
