psangster
Would it be possible for a DVBViewer Client to join an IP Multicast Source using an IGMPv3 'join' message. I want to receive an MPEG-TS over an IP network that only supports Source Specific Multicast I very much think the answer is no, but it's a shame that DVBViewer is geared up for this sort of thing Thanks Quote Link to comment
MaxB
You have to use TransEdit 4.0.7 from the members section, scan the MPEG-TS and export the services to the DVBViewer. TransEdit 4.0.7 is able to scan and analyze IGMPv3, DVBViewer and the Recordingservice are able to use the exported settings. Quote Link to comment
psangster
My posts are empty for some reason!!! Therefore, it doesn't seem able to send an IGMPv3 join message for Group 239.1.1.1 specifically from unicast source 10.10.10.1 I can't see how TransEdit can be used to overcome this Thanks Quote Link to comment
