Hauppauge HD PVR - Can it be recognized by Recording Service ?

Hello everybody, found on the members' section a plug-in for Hauppauge HD PVR and the device can then be recognized by DVBViewer, as shown under Options - Hardware. However, it seems the device cannot be recognized by Recording Service. Can we force the recognition by adding the device on the svchardware.xml file ? Many thanks.

As far as I understand hackbart, it should work in the RS.

But it is not realy tested.

 

If the Scan Devices button in the RS options didn't work. You could try to copy the device from the hardware.xml to the svchardware.xml (stop the RS first).
