I have a Skystar 1 DVB card (Hauppauge Nexus Win DVB-S) , i'm running under Windows XP pro, with a P4 2.53 Ghz, an ASUS P4V8X-X motherboard, 512 Mo DDR PC2700 and an Nvidia Geforce FX5700. When i start the DVB application, the computer freeze :-(. All is ok with my computer, drivers, firmware, no irq sharing/conflicts... but this motherboard has VIA chipset . (My last motherboard was a ASUS P4S8X-X with SiS chipset, and the DVB card worked fine...) Please HELP !!! Thank's Quote Link to comment

The problem is the same with other DVB applications (ProgDVB, MyTheatre... and the Technotrend DVB-TV application) Any idea ? Does anyone solved conflict with VIA chipset motheboard ?
