bccrew
Hello, I have been using DVBViewer for about 4-5 years now and I finally have reached a stable setup with a streaming server in my home. I have also finally configured my HP remote to be able to use all functionality I want. I record a lot of shows through the web interface of the Recording Service and I'm recording all my shows into a folder on the server where the RS is installed. Now I wanted to test of I could play some of my recordings through DVBViewer itself instead of using MPC-HC but this seemed harder then I thought. I see the listing of my recordings but when I play the OK button or even use my mouse to click the recorded file, nothing happens. Then I discovered the blue button and tried to choose option 1 to "play" but again nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Could it be a access rights problem of DVBViewer onto the recording share? Tjod
My first guess is the recordings folder in RS set via UNC path? http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Recording_Service_Installation_Guide#Networkable_Recording_folders If you change the recordings Folder run "Refresh Recording DB" (web interface tasks) Quote Link to comment
bccrew
Allright it works now. I changed it to a UNC path, thanks! Quote Link to comment
