FFmpeg allways on?

Recommended Posts

I block port 7523 from router and windows firewall, but that does not help.

Edit: Now i block 7777 too, and no more attack.

Those idiots can use my server via html.

I see example epg search while ago, so someone run tasks too.

I think the best way is to use VPN.

Another solution is installing a webserver with proxy funtionality. For example apache2 with mod proxy. Then you can configure a redirect from the webserver to the RS webinterface. The redirect can be protected by a password. So every request to the RS webinterface is protected by the password also the streaming urls.

But this solution needs a lot of handwork and isn't realy user friendly.

Hopefully the RS gets some security features in future. May be the streaming urls get a session id or something else, but i am not an IT security specialist.
