BLACK screen - Not decoding some channels - HOW TO DEBUG ?

One channel can no longer be seen. Started approximately one month ago - maybe after an update of DVBViewer og HDHomerun firmware.
A BLACK screen with correct EPG info is shown after selecting the channel.
Other full HD channels still works

Checking the DVB Source properties (attatched) shows:
Video State: No data / Connected, PID 1200
Audio State: No data / Connected, PID 1200
this is clearly not good.

Tried:
- retune on HDHomerun (but no problem using the HDHomerun viewer)
- rescan on DVBViewer (both using the recording service and DVBViewer directly)
- reinstall DVBViewer
- Recording the problem channel using Recording services, but recording disapperes (from list and file) AFTER timer being closed (maybe due to 0 size?)

Installing DVBViewer give a warning about the "HEVC Video Decoder".
I did select the LAV decoders to be installed and think that this warning then disappeared (is LAV a HEVC decoder?)

What should be done next ?

/ Poul

On your PC the MS Media Center Receiver Service is running in the background.

This can block a tuner from time to time. You should disable it in Service Control from Windows or uninstal the WMC.

Additionally the RS is installed but the DVBViewer is not configured for working with the RS.

(only one application on you PC should try to access the hardware directly)

http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Recording_Service_Installation_Guide#Setting_up_DVBViewer

The EPG doesn't mean anything, it can be transmitted on multiple channels and is stored after having been received once.

Do the channels which aren't working have something in common e.g. are encrypted?

Thank for quick response.

I did as recommended and shut down the MS MEDia centre receiving service ("ehRecvr") and did remove Windows Media Center.

Rebooted.

This did not get the channel going.

I looked for similaries in the non working channels.

I did check all the channels and found the problem.

The non-working channels were all on two frequencies 594000 and 730000.

YouSee/DK is know for reshuffeling the channels, and when they do they do not shut down the channels. Maybe because other channel will that over this channel positions.

Re-scanning does not help as the channel names are left behind.

So I checked the list and found working duplicates.

Everything is fine now.

Again - Thanks

Poul
