Langhuse
We use DVBViewer for playback of movies from our phones.I discoverede that the movie (.MOV and .MP4) is sometimes shown UPSIDE/DOWN. Playback is correct on Android/IOS The movie thumnail in WIN10 is correct. Playback using VLC is correct. A simple test found that it depended on the phone orientation, when recordingE.g.- playback is OK if start button is on the right for Android 6.x- playback is upside/down if the phone is rotated 180 degrees.I made the same test with an Iphone - same result :wassat: Equipment:- Samsung S7, Android 6.x- Iphone 6S, IOS latestProbable cause:- DVBViewer does not check the "orientation" included within the movie-file. I did try to attatch 2 very small examples, but your uploader would not allow 1M file to upload. Quote Link to comment
Tjod
Which codecs are used for playback? Settings > Filter > ... mostly this is a problem inside the video codec settings. Quote Link to comment
