fxv1
Hi, since I upgraded to 5620 my resolution resizing has become a problem. I have created a video to show you what happens. My monitor is a 4K monitor and I have been using that for about a year and my previous DVB worked fine. Res settings 3840 by 2160 Previous DVB was 5520. If you can have a look at the video I would appreciate it, I probably have screwed some settings up. Video is less than 2 minutes. By the way is there any way I could program a Key to give me 150% or 200% resolution ? Many Thanks Frank support.zip Quote Link to comment
Tjod
View > Window Size > x % doesn't have any connection to the resolution of the video or desktop. The % is outer DVBViewer Windows since to desktop size. Only source resolution has a connection to the resolution of the video. So everything works as intended by the developers. fxv1
Thanks for the reply Tjod. So what does view-->Windows size-->100% option actually meant to do? Quote Link to comment
Griga
100% = maximum window size that is possible on your monitor (without parts of the window being outside). Quote Link to comment
fxv1
Thanks for the reply. I have a question re the "Active Hardware Acceleration". Will this option detect the NVIDIA GTX1080 or the soon to be released Radeon RX480 so the onboard HEVC decoder can be utilized? https://flic.kr/p/JaVbhh Quote Link to comment
Tjod
The DVBViewer don't include a HEVC decoder. You are using LAV Filter https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters/releases http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=156191 In UHD most channel are using HEVC with 10 bit color depth. So hardware acceleration will only work if the card supports this. And the indicator is only active during playback of such a channel. This has nothing to-do with the DVBViewer. You only need to use (Custom) EVR as video renderer. 1 Quote Link to comment
fxv1
Thanks for the info Tjod much appreciated. The RX480 supports the following so might be a viable solution. The Radeon RX series includes support for next-generation HDR gaming and video on new HDR monitors and TVs. The Radeon RX series also supports HDMI 2.0b and DisplayPort 1.3/1.4 supporting the new generation of high-resolution HDR and high-refresh displays. The Radeon RX series features accelerated H.265 encoding and decoding, enabling streaming or recording of 10-bit Ultra HD video at 60 FPS. Cheers Frank Quote Link to comment
