need help with error 0x80040218 cant render media stream

hi

i reinstalled DVBViewer pro on a new pc, and when trying to watch national geographic channel SD i got the error;

 

cant render media file, error 0x80040218, there are no combination of filters to show the stream

 

any idea ?

i got this on other channels too

PS located Denmark. Using windows 10 home, TERRATEC Cinergy HTC USB XS HD DVB-T/C

Rather install the latest version of the LAV Filters than a codec pack.

2. should i prior hereto uninstall the codec pack?

codec packs install much you'll never need as a time bomb. Much later you might get troubles..

So try keeping the system clean installing only the things you really need as LAV.

ok good point. I have uninstalled the codec pack and instaleld the LAV components - it workd fine now - thank you again ;-)
