There are no geographic limitations in the DVBViewer or RS.

But you need to set a password and allow to access the RS web interface from the internet in the settings. Make surer there is a Firewall rule and the router has the port forwarded.

No, you have to install it on the server. You access the RS then via your web browser.

The way to set up the port forwarding is described in the Wiki.

Edit:

Or just use the search function in here. Plenty of postings about that.

1. Make sure everything works in the DVBViewer Pro as it should.

2. Install the RS http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Recording_Service_Installation_Guide (let the setup create both firewall rules)
and configure the local DVBViewer as RS client and make sure everything works in the DVBViewer as before.

3. Open the web interface on the local PC http://127.0.0.1:8089/ and click on a channel logo or in the EPG details on the arrow. And test everything.

4. Open the web interface from another PC in the LAN and make sure everything works there as it should.

5. Options Service - Web Settings: Set user name and a secure password. And enable access from the internet, if not done in the initial set-up (you man need to set the password in the local DVBViewer client as well).

6. Look into you router manual how to set-up DDNS and port forwarding.
Or if security is more important create a VPN connection between your router and external device (that is the solution I use).
Or use a reverse proxy to add https

Can you please have a look at the enclosed pdf.See if my setting is ok.

When I try to get in contact via my laptop, to my RS installed om my main PC, I did not get any contact when I used the 127.0.0.1: 8089, but when I use the 192.168.0.112:8089 ( my IP ) I got contact.

When I try to play the browser via Microsoft Edge or Explorer I did not ger any picture (this type of video file is not supported), but when I start via "Google Chrome" i got the picture. It seems to running OK now, but how to get contact with my RS installed on my main PC when i am outside my HomeNet ?

You have to sign up for a dynamic dns service like http://www.noip.com that translates a web adress name of your choice to the dynamically changing WAN ip of your router (the ip that you see here http://www.canyouseeme.org)

In your router you have to create a rule to forward every external request on port 8089 to your internal ip of your Recording Service machine (192.168.0.112).

My tv card : digital device - Duoflex C/T v1 + flex CI

Motherboard: ASUS H87M-PLUS

See above

You shouldn't attach a packed "supporttool.exe" but execute the *.exe" and attach the outcome!

Still waiting for logs!!!

Apart from the fact that the image quality in your pdf is so bad that's unpossible to identify something,

what should we recognize other than a black picture? There's no way to identify the reason of your problem from those screenshots.

Have you checked that your channel is working with a set-top box or with the inbuild tuner of a tv?

If everything works in the LAN and access from the internet is enabled in the RS Settings (5.) and the firewall is configured correctly (web access aloud via RS set-up).

Every thing should be fine relating the RS configuration.

Then it is up to you to configure DDNS, make sure you not behind a provider NAT (or in other words you router has a IP which is accessible from the internet) and configure the port forwarding (LAN IP = Recording Service PC IP, Port for the LAN 8089).

But I will not spend time with this part. For DDNS and port forwarding you should look in a forum related to your router or provider.

That is ok, but please answer me on the question. I dont get any picture on the channel TV 6 but the channel is working at the inbuilt tuner of the TV. See above

As you can see the channel is in the channel list.

Sorry about the bad pdf ( see comments above )

Screen shots aren't useful in this situation.

First step, make sure the channel data are correct (e.g. delete the channel an make a channel scan on the frequency to add it).

Then it seems to be a encrypted channel. The CAM configuration in the Digital Devices driver tool can have a influence.

Are other encrypted channels from the same provider working when this one isn't?

And you are using a old DVBViewer version. Installing the current version could be a good idea.
