NightStorm1000
I recently got DVBViewer and set the Recording Server up on my Home Media Server. This isnt a very Powerfull PC and the Transcoding to Watch stuff in the Browser almost kills my Poor Machine. But I have an NVIDIA Card inside the PC to use with Hardware Accelerated De- and Encoding. I also got a self build Version of ffmpeg with the Nvidia Stuff enabled. But i think the Recording Service has to tell ffmpeg to use that encoder wich would be the "-c:v h264_nvenc" Paramenter. Is there a way to set this for the Streaming? Link to comment
Griga
See RS installation folder (where DVBVservice.exe is), config sub-directory, ffmpegprefs.ini and iphoneprefs.ini (the latter for Apple HLS). You can modify the command strings. The variable parts in curly brackets like {infile} are filled in by the RS before it launches FFmpeg. Please note that a new RS version may replace ffmpegprefs.ini and iphoneprefs.ini by updated files. Link to comment
