Next version of DVBViewer, when?

I know this is the eternal question, which is usually answered with, "When it's ready"

However it's been about 5 Months since the last update.

Can you please give us a rough estimation (say within a month or two) of when 6.0 (if that is indeed the next release) is due please?

DVBViewer Pro 6.0 and DVBViewer Media Server 2.0 will be released more or less at the same time.
So they both need to be ready.

And there is not even a internal time line. There are no plans for bigger changes. But fixing "small" things can take time as well.

(Most times a release is only scheduled around two weeks in advance at all internally. But that will not be published because it happened more then once that a planed release had to be delayed by 1-4 months. And if a announced release is delayed that will only result in frustration)

So nobody hast currently a better answer as "When it's ready". Or as soon as all problems which need to be fixed before the release, are fixed. :innocent:

What are you missing?

A timeframe for the next release and a list of new features/bug fixes, . Of course they could just release a new version with nothing updated or fixed, but they tend not to do that.

Normally your witty response is used by the developers to defer answering the question, but thanks for trying.
