gsasa
I have a desktop computer and use it to Technisat Skystar HD2 card. Computer is quite old and could expect to be corrupt. I have a good laptop and I'd buy a USB card. I have diseqc engine and antenna of 105 centimeters. Which card do you recommend that I buy? Quote Link to comment
Griga
For USB DVBSky is a good choice. I have a DVBSky S960C and it works well with DVBViewer. If you don't need a Common Interface (CI), a DVBSky S960 will do. Quote Link to comment
gsasa
Currently can not watch paid channels because in our law has not yet forced providers to offer only the cam module and card, but I'd like to have a device that has the ability to view and pay TV channels so that I could insert the CAM card and when the opportunity arises. Is there a similar device with CI module? Quote Link to comment
Griga
DVBSky S960C has a CI module, DVBSky S960 has none. Quote Link to comment
gsasa
I have one more question. What kind of support the se cards for Windows 10? Are there new drivers are adequate or need to be put drivers for older Windows. Quote Link to comment
Griga
No problems here under Windows 10. I didn't care about the driver version. Just used the latest. 1 Quote Link to comment
gsasa
I need to revive my old theme. Two thousand seventeen I got a recommendation here for a DVB Sky S960C usb card. Then I gave up the purchase because I solved the problems with the device at the time and also because of the financial situation. Now my desktop computer that had my PCI card in it has burned out and I need to get something new. The DVB Sky device is not available anywhere. It says on Amazon that it is unavailable. On but express and Ebay doesn't have it. Does anyone know where it is possible to get this device? If it is not possible to get it, what is the alternative now? Quote Link to comment
Griga
Dual tuner PCIe card, excellent quality and support, but expensive: https://www.digital-devices.eu/shop/en/cine-series/cine-series/318/digital-devices-cine-c2/t2i-v7-simplitv-compatible-orf-twin-tuner-tv-karte-dvb-c/c2/t/t2/isdb-t However, if you only need a single tuner, a Hauppauge soloHD will probably do... it is known to work well with DVBViewer. gsasa
Does this PCIE card come in a USB version? I don't have a desktop computer anymore, so only usb suits me. Quote Link to comment
gsasa
This Hauppauge is not a DVB-S2 tuner. I only need a DVB-S2 tuner. Quote Link to comment
Griga
Sorry, I was fooled by the C in DVB Sky S960C. It stands for CI, not for DVB-C. vor 23 Stunden schrieb gsasa: The DVB Sky device is not available anywhere. It says on Amazon that it is unavailable. On this German Amazon page it is still available: https://www.amazon.de/DVBSky-S960C-DVB-S2-Common-Interface/dp/B07CJ4BJZ5 Quote Link to comment
gsasa
Then it obviously cannot be ordered from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Quote Link to comment
