hi, i would like to capture some picture from a film with DVBViewer.

Is it already possible? It should be a new idea for DVBViewer.

screenshots will be officaially supported with the incoming XVR renderer

Yes, you'd use DVD2AVI:

1. Load your .mpg or .m2v;

2. choose Video > Color Space > RGB

3. move the slide bar on the frame you want to shot;

4. press "B"

and you'll find your picture in the same directory you've installed DVD2AVI.

Si', basta usare DVD2AVI:

1. Carica il tuo fimato .mpg o .m2v;

2. scegli Video > Color Space > RGB

3. posizionati con la slide bar sul fotogramma che vuoi catturare;

4. premi "B"

e troverai il fotogramma nella stessa directory in cui hai installato DVD2AVI.

There is a way to capture screenshots directly from the DVBViewer with the following steps:

- Deactivate the Overlay Mixer in the options and terminate the DVBViewer

- Launch another program that uses overlay, any player will do... let it play a short part of a video and then let it pause.

- Launch the DVBViewer again. It won't use overlay now, because overlay is already occupied. Then make your screenshots with ALT+PrintScr.

well, you can always work around a problem....

but it would be really nice to get that feature implemented directly in DVBViewer.

thanks.
